Reflective practice aims to give you the skills, tools, mindset and confidence to adopt and embed reflective practices to help you, your organisation and your collaborations learn about yourselves, each other and your work. It is a practical and participative programme with two half-day in-person workshops with time for intentional practice in between. The programme will be faciliated by Stephanie Cole. And contact Stephanie if you’d like more information about the programme.

About reflective practice and learning
Reflective practice helps us learn and flourish at work. It’s about reflecting on ourselves and our work to understand, improve, and share what we learn. We are more motivated, engaged and empowered, and better able to succeed in our roles and achieve our purpose.
A reflective practice helps us
learn from positive experiences to keep doing great work, build our confidence and take action
when things don’t go to plan to rebuild our confidence and what we could do differently
learn about ourselves, recognise and build on our strengths and resources, unlock our potential
understand if we’re doing what we said we’ll do and how well we’re doing it
build trust and psychological safety, and more productive and enjoyable working relationships
Creating cultures of learning, development and growth
Yes We Can is working to create cultures of learning, developing and growing in our VCSE sector in the north east. This is one of our contributions to us all having what we need to flourish in our social leadership roles.
For the next three years – 2026-2028 – we commit to running our A coaching approach and Reflective practice programmes at least once a year, and our main eight-month leadership programme – Lead and manage: Best self, great teams, amazing together – once a year.
